The Dynomite Diesel DCR Pump Conversion Kit (DDPL5P-DCRKIT) replaces the factory high pressure fuel pump on 2017-2023 Chevy Duramax L5P engines with a DCR common rail pump and matching fuel tube assemblies. The kit is sold brand new, carries no core charge, and is backed by Dynomite Diesel's 3 year unlimited mile warranty.

Installation Notes

The DCR pump has no key, and timing the pump to the engine is not required. A new pump drive gear must be installed; Dynomite Diesel specifies not reusing the factory drive gear. Dynomite Diesel also lists the following GM service parts for the job:

Required tools include a 17mm crowfoot or line wrench socket, torque wrenches covering 80-89 lb in and 16-74 lb ft, 52mm fan clutch wrench and pulley holder, serpentine belt tensioner tools, 3/8" and 1/2" fuel line disconnect tools, and a GM EN-51142 pump gear holding tool or similar.
